That’s how Rita Wilson, a client of The Zachos Team, closed our conversation. Rita is a friend of The Zachos Team who we’ve been able to help with multiple transactions in the Douglas County area. We talked to her to find out how her real estate process went and how The Zachos Team helped her along the way.
“I bought and sold a residential home with The Zachos Team, not simultaneously. I sold my house, I guess it was September of 2018. And then it was June of 2020 when I purchased again.”
“I was not really planning on buying again, but with rental prices being as they were and the market being good during COVID, I was able to purchase again in 2020, much cheaper than what I was able to pay in rent.”
As with many of our clients, we began working with Rita after meeting her personally.
“I got to know Paul through my Leadership Douglas class. We were in the same class and I just felt like he was someone that I could trust to do a good job in representing the property that we had to sell in South Douglas. He hired someone to come in and take photos of the house and made the house look amazing. The whole process just went really smooth.“

“Both processes were very, very smooth from beginning to end. We actually put an offer in on a house in the same neighborhood that I eventually bought in, and that deal fell through. [They were] great to advise me not to go through with that first arrangement, because the seller was wanting me to pay over the appraised value for the home. So again, just being able to trust the guidance from The Zachos Team knowing that they were on my side and had my best interests at heart.”
