The Zachos Team is proud to operate all across Atlanta, but sometimes it can be hard to know where in the city to start looking for what you need. We’ll be going through each section of the city to let you know exactly what to expect, and today we’re covering West Atlanta.
West Atlanta is an up-and-coming gem within the city, featuring an assortment of parks, shopping centers, and more. The Beltline connects many of these places, but as of early 2025, there are several unfinished sections near this spot. Most notably, there is a long section of trail leading northeast which is still under heavy construction, but many of the westside sections within highly populated areas are open for all the walking and biking you desire.
One of these completed sections passes right by Westside Reservoir Park, an expansive greenspace just minutes from the heart of downtown Atlanta. The park is a former quarry that has now been converted into walking trails, playgrounds, and more. A large reservoir serves as a focal point for the park, making for a peaceful experience as you walk or bike around the water’s edge. The park is dotted with several overlooks, as well as pavilions which may be reserved for events. It’s easy to see why the Westside Reservoir Park is a staple of the Atlanta area.
If you’re looking for shopping and restaurants, then The Works at Chattahoochee Row is your go-to. This area holds a variety of restaurants and retail locations including Your 3rd Spot, an entertainment space with food, drinks, and a variety of games, similar to Dave and Busters. You can always enjoy the space through reservations or walk-ins, or you can even buy your own membership for an all-access pass to the community.
Chattahoochee Food Works is also present here, an expansive food hall that provides some of Atlanta’s finest culinary experiences. Just a short walk away from Your 3rd Spot, the location is a powerhouse among West Atlanta, presenting mouthwatering dishes like flavorful barbecue, fresh sushi, and palate-cleansing desserts. There are over thirty vendors present at Chattahoochee Food Works, meaning you’ll never run out of new things to try.
On top of all of this, Chattahoochee Row contains residential space, so you can live right beside some of the best entertainment offerings in Atlanta. The high-rise apartments conveniently located in this district have various amenities, including an outdoor park and playground right outside the building. This is a perfect spot for families or anyone who needs a new spot to relax right outside of their home.
While we only covered a small section of West Atlanta, there’s plenty of space in the surrounding area for you to live close by and enjoy all of these amenities as well. If you’re interested in looking at this area and possibly finding a new home, contact The Zachos Team today. As Georgia locals, we have your best interests in mind when it comes to Atlanta real estate, and can help you find the perfect place to settle down.
