St. Patrick's day can be a great time to put on that nice green outfit you never wear, do a jig, and remind people that you're 1/16th Irish. But where should you go near Atlanta to celebrate? Within Georgia, Savannah is often touted as the place to be for parades and festivities, but when life happens it's difficult to justify the trip. We'd like to share a few events closer to home to check out to make the most out of this underrated holiday.
- The Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade right through Midtown on March 15th is sure to bring plenty of fun. Check out more about it here, or if you want to make a day trip out of it, check out one of our newest blogs below for more to do in the area.
- If you'd like to stay closer to The Zachos Team's side of town, the St. Patrick's Day Party in Carrollton on March 15th might be your speed. Check out the details here.
- North of Atlanta, the Smyrna St. Patrick's Day Festival on March 15th and 16th takes place right in Smyrna Market Village, another area we've covered in our blogs before. Get all the details here.
- There's a variety of other festivities like parades, dining and parties covered by Fox 5 Atlanta. See the full list here and get creative with your holiday plans.
